Mihana is a member of Hawaii's acclaimed Farden family. Her mother, Irmgard Aluli, was one of the Islands' most prolific songwriters and performed for years with her musical group, Puamana. Mihana has spent the better part of her adult life in Puamana, and in 2002 broadened her base by releasing her debut solo album, "Rust On the Moon." Locally, the album captured the title of Jazz Album of the Year at the Na Hoku Hanohano Awards (Hawai`i's version of the Grammy's). "Rust..." also charted nationally, reaching Number 22 on the Americana Music Association Chart, leading to a surprise Mainland tour before sold-out houses.
Mihana has achieved success at all levels in her music career and with the release of her second CD, "One Little Dream" she performs a captivating mixture of country and island themed music that will once again enchant her fans. As a solo performer and composer, Mihana is growing leaps and bounds in various genres of music.
