  
 Loose fitting wrap Happi Coat in two styles for men and women: Traditional Hanten, with kimono
sleeves is boxy cut and has a wider collar band. Newer version Happi is trimmer, has a narrower collar
band, and offers a choice of plain or cuffed sleeves. Be sure to refer to your measurements, as the sizes
vary between Hanten and Happi.
Very easy to sew, our Happi Coat makes a wonderful after-shower robe, lounge robe, or beach or pool robe. If made in brocade or satin, it becomes an elegant evening wrap.
Happi Coat may be made all-in-one fabric, or with contrasting collar band and belt. The fabric layouts are all-one-fabric. If you want to make a contrasting collar band and belt, you will need 3/4 yd contrast fabric for any size. Fold fabric with the selvages together and cut out the collar and belt laying parallel to the selvages.
